Features: "Myriad Aspects of the Republic Era" is not a rigorous historical work, not a detailed photographic reportage, not a chronological record with clear timelines, nor a literary portrayal of personal sentiments. "Myriad Aspects of the Republic Era" might be a combination of these, a hodgepodge. It is a collection of historical images from the Republic Era that we have extracted for readers, hoping they will come alive in their eyes and hearts, allowing readers to have a more vivid touch of the atmosphere of that time. The Republic Era was an age that produced artistic giants in the film industry. "Republic Era Cinema" presents the anecdotes and stories of film stars such as Ruan Lingyu, Jin Yan, Hu Die, Zhou Xuan, and Wang Renmei in the form of a pictorial album to the readers.
