Features: This book takes the discussion on building a "socialist political civilization" from the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China as its guiding principle, conducting a relatively comprehensive and systematic study of the third civilization, namely socialist political civilization. It aims to break new ground and innovate in terms of system, content, and research methods, with the goal of advancing the construction of socialist democratic politics. The book first analyzes the significance, current status, and characteristics of building socialist political civilization, explores the interrelationships among the three civilizations, and examines the three-dimensional structural system of political civilization from the aspects of political consciousness, political institutions, and political behavior. It then identifies the development goals and path choices for the construction of socialist political civilization in China in the new century, focusing on building socialist democratic politics, building socialist rule of law civilization, developing intra-Party democracy, and promoting people's democracy. The book adheres to the combination of theory and practice. On the theoretical level, it conducts a systematic study of the basic connotations and basic structure of political civilization, addressing the shortcomings of previous research. On the practical level, it summarizes experience, explores patterns, and promotes institutional and practical innovation in the construction of socialist political civilization with Chinese characteristics. The book has a clear research approach, scientific methods, sufficient arguments, and demonstrates certain constructive and forward-looking qualities.
