Features: This book is a critically reflective work on Western values, culture, and politics. The universal problems that currently threaten the safety, food, energy, resources, and environment of all humanity stem from this: the actions of humans during the course of evolution are approaching certain external limits of the Earth's natural systems, which will then trigger global disasters. The fault lies not with the Earth but with humans themselves, specifically with certain fundamental concepts in Western culture that guide humanity onto the path of industrialization today.
