Features: Surgeons should comprehensively and dialectically analyze medical histories and various auxiliary examination data, make correct diagnoses through physical examinations, and closely monitor the condition dynamically during the occurrence and development of diseases. They should seize opportunities, determine surgical indications, select appropriate treatment plans, and guide the disease towards the best possible outcomes. All of this requires experience accumulation, the cultivation and enhancement of logical thinking skills, and guidance from senior physicians. In light of this, at the invitation of Jiangsu Science and Technology Press, renowned experts and professors were invited to compile this book and dedicate it to young surgeons. Unlike typical surgical diagnosis and treatment manuals, this book does not elaborate on or merely pass over content that has already been explained in textbooks or mastered by surgeons. Related theories are briefly discussed or left at that. Each disease is divided into five parts: admission assessment, condition analysis, treatment plan, postoperative management, and hospital summary. The focus is placed on aspects that help make correct diagnoses and differential diagnoses, on the selection of treatment plans, and on the doubts, difficulties, and key points that surgeons should address and master during ward rounds, striving to dynamically reflect the entire ward round process. For this revised edition, comprehensive revisions have been made: the content is designed to be practical and up-to-date, reflecting new perspectives in surgical diagnosis and treatment.
