Features: Many young friends must have had such experiences: when you wander through a museum filled with cultural relics and ancient artifacts, when you hear familiar yet distant names like Newton, Marx, and Washington, or when you get lost in stories told by your teachers about the wolf boy of Rome, the temples of Egypt, and the Mayans of the Americas, your mind will be filled with question marks, wanting to know many, many "whys." Our series of books is designed to guide you on a journey through world history, allowing you to seek answers through your own reading and understanding. World history is the history of the development of human civilization—it is the history of people around the world striving to overcome poverty, backwardness, ignorance, and injustice. It is like an endless flowing river, with waves rising and surging forward. In this long river of history, countless waves of civilized wisdom are contained, forming an inexhaustible spiritual treasure trove. The rise and fall, successes and failures of dynasties and empires, the virtues and flaws of historical figures, the hidden depths behind major events, and the hardships behind great innovations all reflect the of how to be a person and how to do things. Through them, we can better grasp ourselves, life, and the future. Today is the stream, and yesterday is the source. The development of anything has its roots and branches, and the development of human society is no exception. "Reading history makes one wise." While history books tell us about the past, they also teach us how to interpret the world around us today and how to analyze and judge future developments. When you encounter setbacks in your future studies, when you feel dissatisfied in your future life, when you are puzzled by some social phenomena, or when you feel lost about your future, reading history may provide you with a rational answer. We hope that this book can add knowledge and joy to your life, help you set sail on the winds of ideals, and make you more mature and accomplished on the path of your future life.
