Features: This textbook is compiled based on the "Teaching Requirements for the Series Courses of Engineering Materials and Mechanical Manufacturing Basics" reviewed by the Guidance Group of the Ministry of Education in October 2003, and combined with the actual conditions of higher education institutions. The series textbook is divided into three volumes: "Modern Manufacturing Engineering Technology Practice," "Modern Enterprise Management Technology Practice," and "Modern Industrial Technology Practice."
"Modern Manufacturing Engineering Technology Practice" is divided into four parts and thirty-two chapters. Part I is "Engineering Materials and Modification Technology Practice," mainly covering the theoretical foundation of engineering materials and their modification processes, common engineering materials, modification processes of engineering materials, material selection for mechanical parts, and experiments (five chapters). The second part is "Material Forming Technology Practice," mainly covering the theoretical foundation of material forming processes, casting, forging, welding and bonding, sheet metal stamping, forming of non-financial materials, powder metallurgy, rapid prototyping, non-destructive testing, automation of material forming processes, selection of workpiece manufacturing methods, and experiments (twelve chapters). The third part is "Machining Technology Practice," mainly covering the theoretical foundation of machining processes, turning, milling, broaching, grinding, finishing and precision machining, drilling, boring, and machining of special-shaped surfaces, CNC machine tool machining, special machining, machining of common metal materials, fitting, automation of machining processes, selection of surface finishing methods for mechanical parts, and formulation of manufacturing processes, and experiments (twelve chapters). The fourth part is "Disassembly and Assembly Technology Practice," mainly covering disassembly and cleaning, assembly, and automation of assembly processes (three chapters).
The content of this book is characterized by comprehensiveness, practicality, scientificity, and advanced technology. It serves as a fundamental textbook for students in mechanical engineering, near-mechanical engineering, and non-mechanical engineering disciplines in universities and colleges. It can also be used by students in vocational universities, television universities, adult higher education, correspondence universities, and night universities.
