Features: This tutorial, based on the insights from other teaching materials, highlights two major features:
1. It is a step-by-step teaching book. During our lectures in various regions, we found that many teachers in remote areas faced issues in selecting teaching materials, such as practicing only one "Beyer" or "Czerny 599" until the end, rarely using other complementary materials. With this tutorial, both students and teachers can achieve the goal of integrating multiple teaching materials through its carefully arranged (pieces) and teaching tips.
2. It is also a specific, concise, and practical teaching method book. During the writing process, more than twenty experienced teachers with decades of teaching experience conducted thorough discussions to select the pieces, and concise and concise performance tips were written for each piece. Young teachers in some institutions may have strong performance skills but lack teaching experience. They can benefit from the teaching tips in this book to fully absorb the experiences of the experienced teachers and refine all aspects of their teaching.
In summary, it is impossible and unrealistic for one tutorial to solve all problems in piano performance and teaching. Over the past three hundred years, from Jean-Philippe Rameau to the present, thousands of piano teaching materials have been published, and no "all-in-one" tutorial can instantly solve all issues. The publication of this book is tailored to the current state of music institutions at all levels in China. I hope its publication will be beneficial to piano teaching at present.
