At first, Teacher Cai Minru simply wanted to learn to cook more delicious dishes for her family. She enrolled in the Chinese Cuisine program at Taoyuan Vocational Training Center. The teachers not only shared additional "entrepreneurial dishes" to help students find employment but also arranged a special one-day baking class. After taking that baking class, Teacher Cai was like she was under a spell—she often stayed up late in the kitchen, baking just a few breads. Later, when the Vocational Training Center launched a food baking class, Teacher Chen Mingli needed an assistant, and she immediately thought of her.
Starting with such a great teacher, Minru learned a very solid foundation and skills without having to figure things out on her own, saving a lot of precious time. Currently, she still assists at the Vocational Training Center and also teaches bread-making courses at the Yangmei Cooking School, continuing her passion and research for baking.
