Features: Xi Hong, also known as Xi Da Lang. Some say, "When Wang Xiaobo left, Xi Da Lang arrived." As everyone knows, Wang Xiaobo's writing was sharp and biting. So, who is Xi Da Lang? Does his pen also possess such a cold, lethal edge? You'll find out if you read it. Lang once said, "Xi Da Lang's black humor style is a uniquely Chinese form of black humor."
Twenty-eight years later in San Francisco, USA, people said—even Hemingway said, "The sun rises from the horizon"—but Mary Zhu told Daniel, "The real sun rises from the clouds." As if to prove her point, a few large clouds in the east moved forward like slow-moving giants, indeed carrying the red sun aloft. Instantly, the sky opened wide, and the brilliant sun emerged, dazzling and radiant. "Clouds as robes, white rainbow as gowns, raising the long bow to shoot the moon wolf," majestic and awe-inspiring, it traveled across the sky, too real to be looked upon directly. Mary Zhu smiled proudly.
It's a pity Daniel hasn't read Nine Songs. This scene of the Eastern Lord's procession is too vivid for his rambling. Perhaps, for this self-proclaimed artist, it's best to start with their sun god, Apollo. Mary Zhu's smile grew even more triumphant. Daniel Merton laughed foolishly. He looked up at the morning glow outside the window, then leaped out of bed in one swift motion, nude, like a brave lion charging toward Feng Li Zhu. Upon reaching her, his strong arms gently embraced her. Then, using his lion-like beard, he softly stroked Mary's neck.
"Mary, ah, you're truly beautiful, and very real—not like those models in the photos. The moment I saw you, I couldn't think of anything else. Ah, ah, no matter how beautiful the view outside is, it can't move my heart. Whether the sun rises from the horizon or through the clouds, the sun in my eyes is you!"
