Features: Chang Xiangyu is an outstanding representative of contemporary cultural workers and a role model for the cultural field. She was a Yuju opera artist, but her artistic achievements were admired by the entire cultural community, recognized as a renowned master of arts. She was a cultural worker, but her influence far exceeded the cultural field, enjoying high prestige among the masses and beloved by the people. Although she has passed away, the spiritual legacy she left is invaluable. Today, we organize a reporting team to learn from Chang Xiangyu, promote her, and carry forward her spirit. In the recent "Three Learning Activities" conducted in the cultural and publishing sectors, we strongly proposed a slogan: The press learns from Mu Qing, the cultural field learns from Chang Xiangyu. Engaging in the study of Chang Xiangyu is an important task for the cultural field at present, with strong practical significance. The cultural field should take learning from Comrade Chang Xiangyu as an important part of the "Three Learning Activities," organize it meticulously, plan it carefully, and carry it out deeply and solidly. The vast majority of cultural workers should, through learning from Comrade Chang Xiangyu, further enhance their consciousness and determination to practice the important thought of the "Three Represents," firmly establish Marxist historical materialism and the cultural perspective, adhere to being close to reality, close to life, and close to the masses, vigorously promote and uphold noble professional spirit and ethics, strive to become cultural workers of both moral integrity and artistic excellence, and promote the prosperity and development of socialist cultural undertakings.
