Growing Up Essay. Upper Elementary

Features: This volume is a continuation of "Growing Essays" (Middle Grades). The two albums for middle and high grades each contain 6 sections, with content largely the same, seamlessly connecting in sequence. The difference between the two volumes primarily lies in the depth of language and writing skills, as well as in expression. This volume begins to introduce requirements in terms of ideological depth, vividness, interest, imagery, and perceptiveness, along with some training prompts. These also touch on the use of rhetorical methods. However, these requirements are limited to intuitive exploration, without aiming for rational understanding. Similarly, a few outstanding essays from junior high school students are occasionally selected for this volume. These are chosen based on the need for reading and reference, and are also accessible to high-grade students. If there is any depth, it is akin to "leaping a little to pick the fruit," rather than simply "reaching out to grab it." In this volume, the methods of guidance, discussion, and analysis are still adopted, striving to play a supporting role.
