Features: The Ministry of Education has newly issued the College English Teaching Syllabus, which divides College English teaching into three stages: the basic level (Level 4), the intermediate level (Level 6), and the advanced stage (post-Level 6). At the Level 6 stage, students are expected to master 5,500 words (excluding the additional 1,000–1,500 specialized vocabulary required for the professional English stage). Based on this framework, we have compiled this book, "Affectionate Vocabulary: College English Level 6 Vocabulary." The vocabulary included in this manual serves as a crucial reference for College English teaching and the (question-setting) of the College English proficiency tests (CET-4 and CET-6). This book breaks the conventional practice of arranging vocabulary in alphabetical order, instead organizing it based on the affinity of Chinese meanings and combining the principles of scientific knowledge classification. This arrangement not only facilitates memorization but also makes it easier to compare the differences between synonyms and antonyms.
