Just like traditional board games, which have a broad base of participants, electronic games have now demonstrated the qualities of a competitive activity. With the emergence of professional players, the terms "electronic sports" (E-sports) and "electronic athletics" (E-athletics) have begun to gain traction. In 2004, the China Electronic Sports Games officially kicked off. We finally had our own professional players, our own heroes. This day, we had waited far too long. We hope the games in this book will bring everyone joy.
