Features: This book consists of three parts: "Tao Feng's Autobiography," "Experiences," a self-autobiographical work written in prison, and "Reminiscences of Hardship." In November 1936, Mr. Zou Tao Feng was arrested for participating in the leadership of the Save the Country League and was imprisoned. During his 243 days in prison, he continued to fight while dedicating himself to writing and translating. "Experiences," a self-autobiographical work, is one of his achievements. The book comprises 61 chapters recounting his life experiences and fragments of his life over the past two decades, particularly his experiences in cultural work and the evolution of his thoughts, which can be considered a microcosm of the life path of modern patriotic and democratic intellectuals. In addition to being published individually, the chapters were compiled and published by the Life Bookstore in April 1937. In the spring of 1944, despite being bedridden and suffering from illness, Mr. Tao Feng continued to write "Reminiscences of Hardship." This work is both an autobiographical account of his turbulent life after multiple exiles and a historical document protesting the government's cultural control measures. Unfortunately, he only wrote over 50,000 words before passing away due to illness, leaving it as an unfinished posthumous work. "Tao Feng's Autobiography" includes 264 images from the collection of the Shanghai Tao Feng Memorial Hall, compiled and designed by Mr. Cao Xinzhi. Sanlian Bookstore published it in 1982, and it is now included in this collection for reprinting.
