Features: This book categorizes architects and different types of buildings by the common genres and styles in art history, roughly organizing them into a chronological line. Instead of focusing on local or traditionally national architecture, it emphasizes the works of master architects, including their architectural concepts in writing and drawings, or "unbuilt" works.
