The task of art phenomenological research does not lie in forming a narrow, fixed school but in establishing an academic path for Chinese academia that permeates multiple disciplines and listens attentively to the call of thought. The holistic cultural perspective provided by this dialogue will enable us to discern the ever-changing nature of things, unleash the power of a generation's thought, and thereby construct an academic territory of significance for both contemporary thought and the art world. After all, the artist's practice is a unique domain, and the unique insights it offers allow the artist, beyond the self-evident nature of painting, to occasionally open up new perspectives when speaking about it. The relationship between phenomenological thought and phenomenological creation is, in general, the relationship between philosophy and art. Traditionally, we have been inclined to discuss this issue from a philosophical perspective, which may not be sufficient. This book should offer an alternative line of thinking: understanding the relationship between philosophy and art from an artistic perspective. The concrete representation painting presented in this book, which has a phenomenological inclination, cannot be said to be a rigorous and solid art school but rather a creative exploration in the field of modern art with a shared spiritual purpose—the possibility of creation.
