Features: When it comes to the difficulty and terror of GRE writing, apart from the inherent challenges of writing itself, the vast question bank is also a significant reason. So, why does this enormous question bank cause terror and anxiety among test-takers? The writing section of the GRE exam differs from other parts of the test. The purpose of writing this book is to help readers with foundational work, such as dissecting and analyzing the question bank, in order to improve their preparation efficiency, shorten study time, and ultimately conquer this formidable fortress that stands in the way of studying abroad. The GRE writing exam consists of two main question types: argumentative essays and issue essays. The argumentative essay type is relatively unfamiliar to most test-takers. This question is a mini-essay, typically around 100 words in length, and possesses the two fundamental elements of an argumentative essay: conclusion and evidence. This question type requires test-takers to analyze the reasoning process or main line of reasoning in the question, identifying any logical errors or flaws in the argument. Then, they must address or refute these errors. The second question type is the issue essay, which is more familiar to most people. As an argumentative essay, test-takers have been writing this type of essay since childhood. It shares the same style and type as the TOEFL writing TWE.
