Features: Microsoft has gathered a large number of outstanding talents. The qualities of these outstanding talents are worth learning from by students in China. The Chinese community working at Microsoft is very large, and they have a deeper understanding of Chinese education and Chinese students. Microsoft Vice President of the Global Corporation Kai-Fu Lee, former President of Microsoft China Tang Jun, and President of Microsoft Research Asia Zhang Yaqin, among others, have all provided suggestions on Chinese education to relevant authorities. In the eyes of Microsoft employees, the qualities of some Chinese students still have many shortcomings: lack of integrity, overly emphasizing grades while neglecting the cultivation of character; overemphasizing intelligence while neglecting the development of emotional intelligence; being overly conventional and lacking a spirit of innovation; being complacent and easily satisfied with the status quo; being self-centered and lacking teamwork awareness and experience; treating learning as a stepping stone and rarely touching books after entering the workforce; lacking a positive mindset and being insufficiently proactive; some individuals not paying enough attention to communication and lacking essential communication skills; the psychological crisis among university students is relatively serious to some extent and has attracted attention from all sectors of society; having an incorrect attitude toward wealth; not giving enough importance to interests and being overly blind when making choices, with money and parental authority often becoming the primary considerations. Interpreting Microsoft's Letter to Chinese Students is written based on the qualities that Chinese students often lack, combining Microsoft's experience in recruiting, cultivating, and retaining talent, and after a comparative study of Chinese and American cultural concepts and thorough research.
