Features: "The Science, Education, and Culture Action" was initiated by the Science and Education Channel of China Central Television (CCTV). Over three years, it has embodied the spirit of China's modern science and education-driven national rejuvenation strategy, the persistent pursuit of "educational character, scientific quality, and cultural taste" by the channel, and the courage, wisdom, and dedication of television professionals from CCTV leadership, channel leadership, production, and management. It has also been nurtured by the hopes of the television audience, ultimately growing into a distinctive television cultural brand that has gained recognition from peers and social influence. CCTV established the Science and Education Channel in 2001, marking the beginning of its professional journey in television cultural communication. Each "Science, Education, and Culture Action" has strived tirelessly, avoiding unnecessary complexity, and can be described as "though laborious as sifting through thousands of pebbles," it has only selectively woven together a tiny fraction of outstanding cultural achievements from both China and the world. However, in the era of electronic communication, it is more like a seed that has continuously been sown into the hearts of a broad audience eager for knowledge. The "Science, Education, and Culture Action" produced by the Science and Education Channel in the summer of 2003 was divided into seven major sections: literature, art education, history, geography, nature, science and technology, and comprehensive. The broadcast lasted for over 60 days, with a wide range of themes, rich content, and unique perspectives, permeating the vivid audio-visual world with profound philosophical thoughts and humanistic care. To facilitate deeper understanding of the television programs and mastery of related cultural knowledge, and to explore a cross-media cultural communication approach, the Social Education Program Center of CCTV collaborated with Shanghai Science and Technology Documentation Press to integrate resources from the "2003 Summer Science, Education, and Culture Action" and other excellent programs, publishing them as a book titled "CCTV Science and Education Channel's Science, Education, and Culture Action—Basic Storage for the Mind." The series consists of eight volumes: "The Mysterious Mysteries of Exploring the Universe" (original astronomy section), "The Highly Challenging Stories of the Earth" (original geography section), "Seeking Lost World Heritage" (original history section), "Science and Technology Activities That Changed Humanity" (original science and technology section), "A Literary Feast Across Time and Space" (original literature section), "A Heartfelt Journey Through the Artistic Hall of Fame" (original comprehensive section), "The Survival Rules of the Animal World" (original nature section), and "The Long River of History in Science and Technology Inventions" (original "The World of Inventions"). In this way, the television "Science, Education, and Culture Action" has finally stepped out of the screen with vibrant energy, reaching into the hands and hearts of the audience and readers. If the audience and readers find some resonance, inspiration, or convenience in their reading, then it is the scattered gold dust that the television professionals of the Science and Education Channel have sent through the publication of the "Science, Education, and Culture Action" series. · In the long history of Chinese civilization; · Which technological inventions have changed our lives; · Who built the splendid Chinese culture.
