Features: Stravinsky (June 17, 1882 – April 6, 1971) was born in Oranienbaum, near St. Petersburg, Russia. He gained fame in 1910 for composing the music for the ballet The Firebird. In 1914, he moved to Switzerland, and in 1940, he relocated to the United States, where he became a U.S. citizen in 1945.
