Features: China is currently in the process of forming its policy system for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). At present, there are over 10 million SMEs in the country, 85% of which are private enterprises. Private SMEs are characterized by flexible mechanisms and large employment capacity, making them a crucial force and source of innovation for China's economic development. However, Chinese SMEs lack diversified financing channels, suffer from severe capital shortages, and face numerous challenges in strategic development, capital operations, governance structures, management levels, and technological innovation, all of which hinder their sustainable growth. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as the development strategies, financing strategies, technological innovation, governance structures, and human resource management of private and SMEs, and a symposium was held between postdoctorals and entrepreneurs, as well as entrepreneurs.
