Features: This textbook was developed based on the courseware designed for the Online College of Renmin University of China. It can be used for online learning as well as classroom instruction. It serves as a teaching material for "Computerized Accounting" or "Accounting Informatics" courses in economic and management disciplines such as accounting (including financial accounting, financial management, CPA specialization, international accounting, computerized accounting, etc.), business administration, and finance. It can also be used as a reference for educators, researchers, and practitioners in the field of computerized accounting. This textbook is a companion to the course "Theory and Practice of Computerized Accounting" and is fully compiled according to the teaching syllabus. The book is divided into eight chapters. Chapters 1 to 3 primarily cover the basic concepts of computerized accounting, the establishment of accounting information systems (including the internal mechanisms, development and design processes, and system implementation methods of computerized accounting information systems), as well as the general steps and methods for operating commercial accounting software. Chapters 4 to 8 focus on explaining the detailed application techniques of subsystems such as the accounting system, electronic reporting system, payroll system, and fixed asset management system in the Anyi 2000 Financial Management System, using these as examples to deepen the understanding of the aforementioned basic principles. This helps students master the fundamental skills of using other commercial accounting software and enables them to actively address various challenges in accounting informatization practices in enterprises and institutions. Each chapter is interconnected yet independent. When studying or reviewing, it is important to think actively, carefully review the accompanying courseware, and master the content of sections such as course explanations, example analyses, and discussion questions. By understanding the structure and main points of this textbook, students can effectively grasp its key concepts.
