Features: Accounting Statement Analysis is written for business management training of corporate managers. This book, based on the actual situation of Chinese enterprises, systematically elaborates on the standardized accounting report system, the basic knowledge and methods of accounting statement analysis, the structure and content of major accounting statements, as well as specific and comprehensive analyses of accounting statements.
This book has three main features:
1. In terms of system design, it follows the approach of "individual analysis — partial analysis (liquidity, solvency, profitability, and cost management) — classified comprehensive analysis (financial condition, operational performance, and cash flow) — overall comprehensive analysis," aiming to provide readers with a multi-level systematic understanding of statement analysis. In reality, the economic content reflected by accounting statements is very rich, and simply summarizing it into four aspects—solvency, profitability, asset operation, and development—is far from sufficient. It is necessary to grasp the economic significance of statements from more perspectives.
2. While focusing on the scientificity and rationality of the calculation of accounting statement analysis indicators, it pays more attention to understanding the economic meaning, usage methods, and techniques of these indicators. In reality, any financial indicator has certain limitations. If one does not pay attention to these limitations and discusses indicators in isolation, it cannot effectively utilize financial analysis indicators.
3. It closely combines with China's accounting standards and the realities of enterprise operations and development, focusing on practical issues in business operations and financial management. In reality, many problems in business operations and financial management are ultimately reflected in accounting statements. One of the important goals of accounting statement analysis is to identify issues in business operations and financial management through statement analysis and propose targeted solutions.
