Publish Date: 2002-11-01
Features: Xie Zongyu's prose excels in laying a simple path toward the history of his emotions and the distant gaze of his soul. Xie Zongyu writes about human death, marriage, and rain—these are the fundamental eternal things. But they are all things he has personally witnessed and deeply reflected upon. How solid the thinking material is, how simple and quiet the expression. His emotions and records are unique, something others cannot replicate. All of this stands in stark contrast to the flashy paper products popular in the streets. This book includes content such as Village Creatures, Village in the Rain, Four Seasons Farming, The Land Where Witchery Flows, Unexplained Hatred, Infant on the Fields, Reflections on Life, and Growing Up in the Past.
