Features: Xie Bingyi is a native of Ningjin County, Hebei Province. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Henan University with a major in Chinese painting. Currently, he works at the Henan Provincial Academy of Fine Arts, and is a member of the China Artists Association and the Standing Committee Member of the Henan Provincial Artists Association. He is also the Director of the Shan Shui Painting Art Committee of Henan Artists Association. "Autumn on the Yellow River" won the bronze medal at the 6th National Fine Arts Exhibition. "Mountain and Moon" was selected for the 7th National Fine Arts Exhibition. "Autumn in Western Henan" won the excellence award at the 8th National Fine Arts Exhibition. "Autumn Tides of the Great River" was selected for the 9th National Fine Arts Exhibition. "1st National Art Institute Biennial Exhibition" (Anhui Provincial Art Museum), "Commemorative Exhibition of the 10th Anniversary of China-Japan Friendship" (Tokyo National Art Museum), "1st National Shan Shui Painting Exhibition" (Anhui Provincial Art Museum). In 1985, he created the mural "Waiting for the Moon at Songmen Gate" for the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. In 1990, he created the large-scale mural "Spirit of the Yellow River" (2.37 meters × 60 meters). In 2001, he created "Turbulent Waves of the Great River" for the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. In 2000, "Jinxiu China, A Journey of Ten Thousand Li – Guilin Section" was exhibited at the National Art Museum of China. In 2001, "Jinxiu China, A Journey of Ten Thousand Li – Taihang Section" was exhibited at the National Art Museum of China. Selected for "A Complete Collection of Modern Chinese Fine Arts – Shan Shui Volume" and "A Review Exhibition of a Hundred Years of Chinese Painting (1900–2000)."
