Features: PETS Level 5 is the advanced level among the five levels of the National Public English Test (NMET). Language knowledge (consisting of both written and oral exams) requires candidates to be proficient in grammar. Since the application of grammar by candidates reflects their communicative competence to some extent, although the focus of the PETS Level 5 exam is on English communicative ability, it does not exclude the assessment of candidates' grammar knowledge. Regarding vocabulary, the Syllabus stipulates that PETS Level 5 candidates should master approximately 7,500 English words and related phrases, and a vocabulary list is provided in the appendix of the Syllabus. This list includes all the words from the Level 4 vocabulary list and adds an additional 1,500 words. The classification and definition of language proficiency for PETS Level 5 are based on the communicative language activity model. It requires candidates to possess the ability to produce, receive, and interact. This book includes five sections: Listening, Language Usage, Reading Comprehension, Writing, and Speaking. It serves as a guide for individuals who wish to comprehensively improve their listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translation skills, as well as a study guide for candidates preparing for the National Public English Test Level 5.
