Features: "Accumulation, Imitation, Reflection, and Innovation in Writing" was designed and conceptualized based on the study of the "Full-Time Compulsory Education Chinese Curriculum Standards" regarding writing instruction. The entire book strives to embody the basic principles of the "Chinese Curriculum Standards" and writing requirements, with the purpose of stimulating interest, cultivating abilities, and fostering teacher-student interaction. It is organized into chapters according to the distribution of writing ability points for primary, junior high, and senior high schools. Each chapter is further designed into four sections: "Requirements and Guidance," "Observation and Accumulation," "Imitation and Reflection," and "Reflection and Innovation." These sections form three tiers of learning—accumulation, imitation, and innovation—for students to develop writing skills progressively, making the process easier and more engaging, thereby sparking their interest in writing. To this end, the design purpose of each section is as follows:
Requirements and Guidance: Clarify the learning objectives of the chapter's writing exercises and provide guidance on key writing techniques and related methods.
Observation and Accumulation: Guide students to focus on accumulating knowledge through observation. In terms of arrangement, it either offers writing materials, excellent excerpts, or outstanding model essays to inspire further exploration, or designs relevant exercises to help students independently gather materials and develop the habit of accumulation.
Imitation and Reflection: Combine reading and writing, starting from the realities of students' writing practice. Using model essays as a guide, it instructs students to imitate the style of these examples for writing exercises, breaking down writing difficulties and allowing students to experience the joy of successful writing.
Reflection and Innovation: Design writing prompts, clarify requirements, and provide relevant hints to guide students to discover something new on the basis of imitation, enabling them to express their unique insights and experiences.
