Unseen Historical Photos (Treasure Edition)

Author: Qin Feng
Publisher:
Publish Date: 1999-06-01
Features: The fragments of Chinese history collected here may be familiar to many, but the moments captured in each photograph are, as the title suggests, things that many have never seen. To say they have never been seen mainly refers to readers in mainland China, as these photographs were all collected by the compiler from places outside mainland China. A single photograph, after being accumulated by the passage of a decade, even if it conveys information previously unknown, will not simply be accepted as just "historical news." Readers will easily find, from these unseen old photographs and their scenes, objects, and the expressions of the people, a deeper meaning that goes beyond the mere "news" itself.
