Features: The Global City Mathematics Contest is an internationally renowned mathematics competition, regarded as a warm-up event for the International Mathematical Olympiad. Hosted by the Russian Academy of Sciences, the contest is held twice a year, with hundreds of cities and hundreds of thousands of students participating in each edition. The competition is divided into two divisions: Junior High (Grade 8 and Grade 9) and Senior High (Grade 10 and Grade 11). Outstanding performers in the contest will receive certificates from the Russian Academy of Sciences. The Global City Mathematics Contest has a history of over 20 years since the late 1970s. The questions in this competition are lively and challenging, making it highly significant for the mathematics competition activities of primary and secondary school students in China. This book is compiled by nine members of the China Mathematical Olympiad Committee, who are also national coaches appointed by the China Mathematical Olympiad Committee.
