Features: Many people never read official documents in their entire lives and still live quite comfortably. I have a rough understanding of this, and that's enough. When I pick up a newspaper, I usually start from the back and flip forward until I reach something uninteresting, then set it aside. Looking at the various faces passing by, I often experience a sense of time distortion, as if tomorrow is already the weekend. Sometimes I know it's Monday in the morning, but by the afternoon, I think it's Friday. My original dormitory was also in that deep courtyard complex, but every time dusk approached, I would wander outside the courtyard. The outside was filled with the hustle and bustle of the city, yet it was actually quieter here than inside the courtyard. This book is a collection of eighteen representative and widely acclaimed works selected by the renowned writer Wang Yuewen from his entire creative journey, titled "Wang Yuewen's Self-Selected Collection."
