Features: In 2001, the Ministry of Education issued the "Outline for the Reform of Basic Education Curriculum (Trial)," which provided systematic guidance on promoting quality education through basic education and improving students' innovative and practical abilities. Curriculum reform textbooks across the country had also been introduced. To support the smooth progress of the national curriculum reform and help primary and secondary school students adapt quickly to the new learning model and learn and utilize the new textbooks effectively, Wuhan University Press organized a team of experienced curriculum reform experts and senior teachers from the frontline. Based on the "National Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education" for Chinese and Mathematics established by the Ministry of Education and the experimental textbooks for compulsory education curriculum compiled by the People's Education Press, a set of student "Three New" (New Curriculum, New Standards, New Classroom) practice and guidance books were developed under the new philosophy of curriculum reform. These books fully reflect the current hot topics in Chinese and Mathematics teaching and embody the new requirements and directions of teaching and evaluation reform. As supplementary materials for the "Experimental Textbooks for National Curriculum Standards in Compulsory Education" for primary and secondary schools, they provide synchronous training with the textbooks while demonstrating openness, interactivity, autonomy, and innovation. At the same time, they offer moderate and tiered deepening and enhancement. The content of this book is rich and. Primarily based on the People's Education Press edition, it also appropriately incorporates other versions such as the Beijing Normal University edition. The primary school Mathematics section is organized by grade, with each grade divided into two semesters (upper and lower volumes). Each volume is divided into several units, each of which is further divided into three parts: "I Can Learn," "I Will Learn," and "I Want to Learn," reflecting the three levels of requirements for basic learning, skill training, and comprehensive innovation. After each unit, there is a unit test paper, and at the end of the book, there is a final test paper. The "I Can Learn" section closely aligns with the textbook knowledge points and serves the purpose of basic learning. The "I Will Learn" section is slightly more challenging, with a certain degree of comprehensiveness, focusing on learning methods and the cultivation of students' learning abilities. The "I Want to Learn" section draws from rich real-world scenarios and presents various information resources, helping to develop students' judgment, reasoning, and other thinking skills while fostering open and innovative thinking.
