Features: Our bodies' desires are always short-sighted, while our spiritual ideals and aspirations look to the future. A long-term goal, under achievable conditions, can greatly inspire determination and ambition more than any immediate material need. It has been more than a quarter of a century since Maslow's death, and there is no sign of his reputation declining. In the coming 21st century, their significance will be fully revealed. If I had to explain what contribution this is, I would say that it is the most important description of human nature since Freud by Maslow.
