Features: Children's literature is specifically created to attract and enhance the reading and appreciation needs of young children. Due to the long influence of feudal society, children were not valued, and literary works created intentionally for them were scarce. For a long time, only rhymes, stories, legends, and the like were passed down orally among children, becoming spiritual nourishment that nurtured their young minds, guiding them to open their eyes to the world and adding wisdom and courage. We hope that The Century of Children's Literature Masterpieces becomes children's favorite! The Century of Children's Literature Masterpieces selects masterpieces created in various historical periods and is divided into five volumes: the Children's Novel Volume (two parts), the Fairy Tale Volume, the Fable Volume, the Poetry Volume, and the Science and Literature Volume. The format of each volume is as follows: After each selected work, an "Appreciation" is appended, with approximately 500-1,000 words. The appreciation mainly introduces the publication time and historical background of the work, the author's background, and focuses on exploring the ideological connotations and artistic achievements. We have targeted the readers of this series as young students, specifically those aged 11-12 to 15-16, including high school students and junior high school students. It can also serve as a reference book for teachers and parents to educate children. During the selection process, omissions and inappropriate choices were inevitable, and the appreciation texts may also contain biases. We hope to receive criticism and corrections from readers.
