China Economic Growth Report

Features: Since the second half of 2002, China's economic growth showed clear signs of warming up. In 2003, despite the severe impact of the SARS epidemic on the Chinese economy, the growth rate still reached 9.1%, which is rarely seen in China's recent economic growth. With this growth, debates over hot issues in China's economic growth have also been rare in recent years. The focus of attention mainly concentrates on three aspects: first, whether the growth is too fast and whether the economy is overheating; second, in the current situation, how to make policy choices: the target of policy, whether it is to control inflation or solve unemployment; and third, whether the RMB should be appreciated. This book scientifically explores, studies, analyzes, and statistically examines the principles of national economic accounting and economic growth in China's economic practice and growth process.
