Features: Nowadays, medication remains a primary treatment measure for the majority of internal diseases. The prescription issued by a doctor is the medication list for implementing treatment. A prescription is often composed of multiple drugs, reflecting not only the accuracy of the doctor's diagnosis but also the effectiveness, safety, and rationality of the drug combination, among other intrinsic factors. Except for diagnosis, all these aspects fall under the realm of pharmacology. Therefore, pharmacology is the foundation of drug therapy and the theoretical basis for doctors writing prescriptions. This book serves as a prescription guide for the treatment of internal diseases, incorporating pharmacological annotations. It organizes prescriptions based on internal diseases, creating comprehensive prescriptions according to the needs of treatment, and then analyzes their scientific and rationality based on pharmacological theory. This can provide clinicians with highly practical, theoretical, and experiential treatment prescriptions. As comprehensive prescriptions, they must align with pharmacological theory while also encompassing the clinical experience of doctors. Multiple comprehensive prescriptions may be provided for a single disease, such as Prescription 1, Prescription 2, Prescription 3, etc. Combining pharmacology with clinical drug therapy in the form of comprehensive prescriptions and pharmacological annotations is an unprecedented attempt, which may also bring broad readers an opportunity for extensive interest and the exchange of treatment experiences. The main content of this book is limited to adult internal medicine, serving as a reference for clinicians at all levels when writing prescriptions. The book is systematically divided into nine chapters, each corresponding to a different system of internal diseases. Within each system, diseases are further categorized based on anatomical-physiological characteristics or the nature of the disease into several major groups or specific disease names. Readers can refer to the table of contents to find the necessary prescriptions for a particular disease. The book also includes a Chinese and English name index at the end for easy reference to drug names. Some of the prescriptions and drug dosages provided are based on relevant specialized literature, while others are derived from personal clinical experience and are for reference only. Readers can also make substantial modifications to the prescriptions based on their own clinical conditions and experience. In short, the standard for selecting or modifying prescriptions is to ensure patient safety and effectiveness. The content and methods of writing this book represent an attempt. As it is about to be reviewed by readers, we feel somewhat apprehensive, fearing errors may mislead readers and cause harm to patients. At the same time, our academic level is limited, and our writing skills are superficial, so it is inevitable that there may be omissions and errors in the book. We sincerely hope that readers will offer constructive criticism to help improve this book. Throughout the writing process, we have received strong support and encouragement from People's Medical Publishing House, and the faculty of the Department of Pharmacology at Xi'an Jiaotong University Medical College have provided us with their support and assistance. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of them.
