Features: This book is a specialized monograph on TCM beauty therapy, compiled by the authors after a systematic study of the basic theories of beauty and practical operation. Based on the current state of TCM beauty therapy, it has been enriched and improved in terms of basic concepts, specialized terminology, diagnosis, and the integration of Chinese and Western treatments, building upon the first edition. The book is divided into four parts: Upper, Middle, Lower, and Appendix. The Upper Part primarily discusses the theoretical foundations of TCM beauty therapy and treatment principles. The Middle and Lower Parts focus on clinical applications, providing specific health preservation or treatment methods for over 30 types of beauty defects or disfiguring diseases from perspectives such as medication, dietary therapy, acupuncture, massage and tuina, Qigong, and Western medicine. After each disease, a clinical commentary is added, offering a brief review of the current level of TCM beauty therapy treatment and key research directions in the future. The Appendix introduces the construction of TCM beauty therapy clinics, relevant medical beauty regulations from the Ministry of Health, beauty prescriptions, and an index for easy reference. This book is suitable for a wide range of audiences, serving as both teaching materials or reference resources for beauty therapy majors in medical schools, as well as study tools for beauty practitioners in hospitals or medical beauty clinics and beauty enthusiasts.
