Features: Unlike some basic piano training textbooks, this book is a collection of exercises summarized and accumulated by the author through years of teaching practice, tailored to the gradual improvement of students' playing techniques and the actual needs of teaching. The three key contents included in this book—transposition exercises, special finger scale exercises, and fixed bass chord transposition (inversion) arpeggios—have historically circulated in the field with several different playing methods, but they are rarely found in teaching materials. They have now been standardized and organized for inclusion here. The exercises in this project, including half-step progressions, transposition exercises, and half-decomposed chord exercises, can all be practiced using three different articulation techniques: legato (smooth playing), non-legato (separated playing), and staccato (detached playing). The exercises in this textbook do not necessarily need to be followed in order, but each item should start with slow playing and gradually increase speed. Otherwise, it will be difficult to achieve a relaxed, effortless, and fast, clear playing effect in the end. Through persistent and repeated practice of this textbook, it is believed that the technical abilities of every practitioner will be greatly improved.
