Features: With the acceleration of the tax legalization process in China, the state has been emphasizing the obligations of taxpayers while increasingly valuing their rights. However, even if the law grants taxpayers more rights, the right to assistance remains empty and cannot be truly implemented without support. Taxpayers need someone to help them realize their rights, and this is the role of the tax lawyer we propose. A tax lawyer is a professional who helps taxpayers realize their rights. The tax lawyer mentioned here refers to a broad sense of tax lawyer, not specifically legal professionals with a lawyer's qualification engaged in tax-related litigation, but any professional who serves the interests of taxpayers, such as certified public accountants, registered tax agents, and lawyers. Legally, suspects must have a lawyer defend for them to ensure that the punishment against suspects stays within the legal scope, achieving justice and fairness in the law. "Defending" the interests of taxpayers is a key responsibility of tax lawyers. Tax lawyers need to be proficient in tax law and related knowledge, capable of planning for the interests of taxpayers, and, if necessary, communicating, negotiating, and participating in litigation with tax authorities.
