Features: For the government, school choice serves as a market reference for identifying inter-school disparities and balancing educational resources. The fundamental solution to the school choice problem lies in the equalization of educational resources, rather than the misplaced approach of "treating the symptoms rather than the root cause." Faced with the diverse and practical school choice, parents should consider more seriously: whether to ensure their children don't fall behind at the "starting line" or at the "finishing line"! Rational school choice has become the natural choice for parents and students. High-quality education has always been a scarce resource, and achieving equal educational opportunities has been a shared ideal among educators throughout history. From Confucius in Chinese history, who established private schools and advocated "education for all without discrimination," expressing the belief that "everyone, regardless of status, has the right to equal education," to Plato in the West who first proposed implementing compulsory primary education and Aristotle who suggested enforcing educational rights through law, all prove this point. Education is not omnipotent, but failing to receive education is unthinkable, and even the lack of access to high-quality education can lead to lifelong regret! Children are the flowers of the motherland and the hope of their families. On a grand scale, education is the most effective tool for achieving social equity and strengthening the nation; on a smaller scale, receiving education is the best way to change one's life path and improve survival competitiveness. However, can children truly follow the path drawn by the "master designer"? The desire for children to excel has intensified the phenomenon of school choice. While society criticizes school choice extensively, it remains helpless. School choice directly leads to unfair competition between schools, increases students' mental burden and parents' financial pressure, and gives rise to a series of corrupt practices. Even measures like neighborhood enrollment, computer-assigned placement, and specialized internal recruitment have not fundamentally eliminated the criticized exchanges of power for education and money for education, nor have they deviated from the original purpose of quality education. For students and parents, school choice is a legitimate right. As long as there are disparities in the educational standards of schools, the phenomenon of school choice will persist for a long time.
