Features: When we say the I Ching is a treasure of Chinese culture, the I Ching we refer to is the canonical texts of the I Ching system, including all the various interpretations made by later generations. Our book, "An Introduction to I Ching Studies," teaches knowledge about the canonical texts of the I Ching system, not just discussing the original nature and content of the I Ching book. The I Ching was originally an oracle text formed during the Western Zhou period, used for divination. However, during its later transmission, people's understanding of it changed significantly. Starting from the Spring and Autumn period, as society and culture developed, people offered various interpretations of it. We divide the understandings of the I Ching by later generations into two parts: "The Ten Wings" (I Chuan) and "I Ching Studies" (I Xue). These two concepts are not equivalent to the original I Ching, but they are still connected to it. In Chinese history, there have been over 2,000 works interpreting the I Ching, and nearly a thousand of them have been passed down to this day. These interpretations each have their own characteristics, and not all of them necessarily align with the original meaning of the I Ching.
