Features: Computers have become a necessary tool for students. To use computers proficiently, especially to develop software using computers, one must be proficient in at least one programming language. C language, with its unique features, has become a popular choice among students, and many schools have adopted it as a teaching language. Due to the complexity of its syntax and the flexibility of the language, many beginners find it challenging to learn. Based on this, the author of this book, drawing on years of teaching experience, has written it. Through numerous examples, particularly through the analysis of algorithms and results, the book helps readers understand the various syntax rules and programming methods of C language. Learning programming design cannot be limited to understanding; the more important thing is to be able to write programs independently. Therefore, readers are expected to, on one hand, learn the ideas and methods of programming through the examples in the book, and on the other hand, to independently write and debug programs to understand and memorize the basic knowledge and programming techniques of C language. This book consists of thirteen chapters, each followed by exercises. When answering multiple-choice questions, it is not enough to just select the answer; it is more important to learn to analyze why one option is correct and where others are wrong. This is how one truly gains from the exercise. When completing fill-in-the-blank questions, it is best to debug the complete program after filling in the blanks, which helps in analyzing and understanding the program and algorithm. When working on programming questions, readers should independently write and debug the programs. Through a series of training exercises, one can achieve the goal of mastering C language. This book is edited by Professor Du Youfu, who is also responsible for the overall compilation. The editorial team includes Li Xinyu, Li Keqing, Zhou Yuncai, Wu Liangkun, Cao Zhilan, and Ding Xingya. Chapters 1 and 2 were written by Wu Liangkun, Cao Zhilan, and Ding Xingya; Chapters 3, 4, and 5 were written by Associate Professor Li Xinyu; Chapters 6, 7, 8, and 9 were written by Professor Du Youfu; Chapter 10 was written by Associate Professor Li Keqing; Chapters 11, 12, and 13 were written by Associate Professor Zhou Yuncai; and Associate Professor Li Xinyu participated in the revision of Chapters 1 and 2. Due to the authors' limited expertise, there may be omissions and shortcomings in the book. We sincerely invite readers and experts to provide valuable feedback for possible revisions in future editions. This book serves as a textbook for the C Language Programming Design course, consisting of thirteen chapters. Through numerous examples, especially through the analysis of algorithms and results, it helps readers understand the basic concepts, basic algorithms, and various syntax rules of C language, as well as learn programming methods. Each chapter is followed by exercises. To facilitate teaching and self-study, this book is accompanied by a supplementary guide titled "Introduction to C Language Programming Design." This textbook is particularly suitable for beginners in non-computer majors at universities and colleges, as well as for those preparing for the National Computer Rank Examination and other learners.
