Features: To adapt to the development needs of the construction industry after China's entry into the WTO, implement the spirit of the "Notice on the Implementation of the Professional Qualification Certificate System for Production and Operation Personnel in the Construction Industry" issued by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and carry out vocational skill training for construction workers to rapidly improve the overall quality of the construction workforce, our company has organized the writing of the "Construction Vocational Skill Training Textbooks" based on the "National Occupational Standards" for the construction industry jointly reviewed by the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, as well as the "Occupational Skill Standards" and "Occupational Skill Position Assessment Specifications" issued by the Ministry of Construction. This set of textbooks includes 12 positions such as masonry workers, plastering workers, concrete workers, steel bar workers, carpenters, painting workers, scaffolding workers, waterproofing workers, testing workers, surveying and layout workers, plumbing workers, and construction electricians. On this basis, we have also added the book "Professional Ethics and Rights Protection for Construction Workers." The purpose is to enable workers in these positions to not only master their professional skills but also understand professional ethics norms and knowledge of protecting their own rights. It is also to support the moral education activities centered on "integrity" conducted by national vocational skill management departments in the construction industry, meeting the urgent needs of vocational skill assessment institutions and training departments. With the formal implementation of China's "Regulations on the Safety Management of Construction Projects" (February 1, 2004), we have added the book "Safety Production and Labor Protection" to this set of textbooks to enable construction workers to better learn, understand, and implement the "Regulations on the Safety Management of Construction Projects," improve the safety production management level of construction enterprises, and reduce accident rates. The writing of this training textbook has drawn on the experience of training programs carried out in various regions in recent years, striving to adapt to the new requirements of the construction industry after China's entry into the WTO, fully considering the actual situation of the construction workforce, emphasizing practicality, and focusing on the training requirements of operational skills. The text is written to be simple yet profound, easy to understand. The content reflects scientificity, advanced concepts, targeting, and practicality. It is a textbook for vocational skill training for construction production and operation personnel. The "Regulations on the Safety Management of Construction Projects" has been formally implemented since February 1, 2004, which is of great significance for comprehensively improving the safety production management level of construction enterprises and reducing accident rates. Seriously studying and implementing the "Regulations on the Safety Management of Construction Projects" and strictly adhering to various safety operation procedures are the responsibilities of every construction worker. This book is specifically written to support construction workers in better learning, understanding, and implementing the "Regulations on the Safety Management of Construction Projects." Given the heavy production tasks, limited study time, and relatively lower educational levels of construction workers, this book uses concise language and vivid illustrations, closely focusing on the theme of safety production to briefly introduce the legal knowledge, labor protection rights, general requirements for construction safety, self-rescue measures in emergencies, and contact numbers of rights protection institutions in various regions. This makes the book not only suitable as a textbook for safety production training for construction workers but also as a reference book for construction workers on safety production.
