Features: This book is arranged according to the "Radical Catalog" of Zhonghua Zihai and the stroke count of Chinese characters. The leading characters of the examples in this book are in traditional characters, enclosed in circles. Below the leading characters, simplified characters are listed in parentheses, and variant characters in square brackets. The examples are then compiled, with their sources indicated. The arrangement of the examples follows the birth years of the calligraphers. The selection criteria for the examples are as follows: strive for fewer but more refined examples, primarily using the examples of Ou Yangxun; examples from other calligraphers are selected as much as possible if they have distinctive styles in terms of form and structure; examples with variations in form, simplification, addition, deletion, and spatial adjustment are selected; examples related to traditional characters, variant characters, and stele characters are selected. This book includes an "Index of Radicals," a "Stroke Lookup Table," and an index of the leading characters on the edge of the page, which are compiled together. Using these three indexes, one can find the traditional characters, simplified characters, and variant characters of the examples they are looking for.
