As the network era arrives, the internet is increasingly becoming an important part of people's lives, and the network economy has also emerged. Most people's understanding of the network economy is limited to e-commerce, and they are unaware of the differences between the network economy and the traditional economy, or why the network economy has become a new direction for global economic development. This book treats the network economy as a discipline and explores this emerging phenomenon, analyzing it from a theoretical perspective. Compared to traditional economics, especially Western economics, network economics has a unique theoretical foundation. For example, the supply-demand model in traditional economics is no longer effective in network economics, and the equilibrium point of supply and demand is no longer a valid decision point in the network economy. In other words, traditional economic theory models will become ineffective in the network economy era. This book specifically discusses this issue, arguing that the effectiveness of traditional economic models lies in their alignment with the social development context of their time, while the social development in the network era has far surpassed the social context on which traditional economics is based. Network risk has now become another major important factor in the network economy, in addition to supply and demand.
