Moving towards new architecture

Features: The aesthetics of the engineer, architecture—these two interconnected things, one flourishing and prosperous, the other tragically declining. Inspired by economic laws and guided by mathematical calculations, the engineer brings us into harmony with the laws of the universe. He achieves harmony. Through organizing forms, the architect creates an order that is a pure creation of his spirit; he strongly influences our consciousness with these forms, evoking passion for shapes; with the harmony he creates, he rouses profound resonance in our hearts, giving us a standard for measuring an order believed to be consistent with the order of the world. He determines the movements of our thoughts and souls; at this moment, we perceive beauty.
After the publication of this book, interest in all things related to architecture arose everywhere. Ordinary people began to talk about architecture, enjoy talking about it, and hope to have the ability to talk about it—this is the consequence of a profound social movement. Our book does not aim to persuade professionals but to persuade the general public to believe that an era of architecture has arrived. Architecture has become a mirror of the times. Modern architecture, concerned with housing, is the concern of ordinary people for ordinary housing—this is a sign of the times. For ordinary people, 'everyone,' to study housing is the foundation of restoring humanity, the human scale, the standards of need, function, and emotion—these are what matter, these are everything. In this era, everything is people-centered.
