Features: The "Contemporary Chinese Classic Animation Series" presents China's outstanding animated films in a comprehensive manner through the combination of books and original VCDs. It allows more readers to appreciate the excellent culture of the Chinese nation; helps adults relive their childhood memories; enables young readers to experience Chinese culture and be nurtured and educated by the Chinese spirit through Chinese stories and images; and also hopes to inspire Chinese animation filmmakers to create more animated films with Chinese style and national charm, shape more Chinese cartoon stars, and once again achieve the glory of Chinese animation. This book mainly covers four contents as follows:
Film 1: It depicts two interesting children. One is named "Mibumay?" (Careless), who always forgets things no matter what he does. The other is named "Bu Gexing" (Unhappy), who has a strange temper. If you ask him to go east, he prefers to go west, and his first words are always "I'm unhappy." When they grow up, their quirks lead to hilarious jokes. In the end, they learn their lessons and correct their shortcomings. The film has a light and lively tone, exaggerated actions, and an attractive charm that leaves a lasting impression.
Film 2: It tells the story of Xiao Xing and Xiao Dan's adventures in the Gold Coin Country. In this country, gold coins, which are highly sought after in real life, are worthless. The story teaches the audience that money itself has no value. Only when it can exchange for what people need does it show its worth. Pursuing money alone is meaningless. Kindness and friendship are more important than money.
Film 3: It narrates a whimsical story about a merchant selling a super soap that can change the color of clothes. As the audience marvels at the merchant's clever sales pitch, they come to realize two important lessons. First, one should not blindly follow the crowd or echo others' opinions. Extremes often lead to the opposite. Second, a healthy and vibrant society should be colorful and diverse, not monochromatic.
New Doorbell: This story expresses a psychological state. When you eagerly anticipate something to happen or arrive, your behavior may seem unusual or even ridiculous. For example, the protagonist in the story cannot sit still until someone rings the doorbell. However, it is difficult to recognize this psychological state in oneself. Therefore, when we laugh at others, we should reflect on how to manage our own minds to avoid becoming someone else's laughingstock.
