Features: This book adopts a "task-driven" approach to organize learning content. In the basic experiment section, based on the teaching content of the Visual Basic course, 15 experimental tasks are arranged. In the advanced section, 5 larger experimental tasks are provided. Each experiment in this book is designed for readers who have mastered the basics of programming, aiming to further enhance their ability to develop applications. Each experimental task includes five parts: experiment objectives, prerequisites, operational examples, experiment content, and reflection and discussion. This book is accompanied by an experimental CAI system based on the task-driven approach. Readers can use this system to conduct hands-on practice under the guidance of experimental tasks, which is highly targeted. Additionally, the system provides corresponding hints, such as algorithm analysis, expected results, and reference programs, which are currently not found in other experimental tutorials. The book is divided into four parts: Basic Hands-on Practice of Visual Basic 6.0, Basic Experiments, Advanced Experiments, and Appendices. The Basic Hands-on Practice of Visual Basic 6.0 section primarily introduces the use and setup of the Visual Basic 6.0 integrated environment, as well as the objectives and requirements of experimental learning in Visual Basic program design. The Basic Experiments section includes 15 experiments designed for beginners in programming, covering the mandatory teaching experiments of the "Visual Basic Program Design" course for non-computer majors in universities. The Advanced Experiments section consists of 5 experiments designed for readers who have mastered the basic knowledge of Visual Basic program design, aiming to further improve their ability to develop applications. All experiments are highly targeted and practical, enabling readers to master the design and implementation methods of Visual Basic program development, consolidate their knowledge, and cultivate practical programming skills. This book is accompanied by a "task-driven" Visual Basic Program Design Experimental CAI system for readers to request. This system leverages the advantages of computers to integrate Visual Basic program design experiments. Using this CAI system for hands-on experiments ensures that students have clear objectives, significantly improving the effectiveness of experiments and fostering their practical programming abilities. This book can serve as an experimental teaching manual for "Visual Basic Program Design" courses for non-computer majors in various universities and higher vocational colleges, as well as a reference book for computer enthusiasts learning the Visual Basic programming language.
