Features: Except for a few chapters and a handful of poems which are early works, all the pieces collected in The Two Piles were written after Wang Shixiang selected and compiled The Dust of Silk in 1996. At that time, his left eye was already blind, and his right eye's cataracts were worsening, making writing extremely difficult. As a result, there are very few manuscripts, most of which are short essays. He considered The Dust of Silk even more trivial and, feeling deeply ashamed, ashamed. Now, at the age of eighty-nine, his energy is declining, and he realizes he can no longer compile The Dust of Three Piles. Wang Shixiang selected The Two Piles as a continuation of The Dust of Silk. Except for a few chapters and poems which are early works, the rest were written after the publication of The Dust of Silk. Volume One includes seven categories: Reminiscences, Calligraphy and Painting, Furniture, Lacquerware, Crafts, Leisure Activities, and Miscellaneous Manuscripts, totaling over sixty essays. Volume Two includes twenty-six poems, as well as three rare and valuable ancient texts: Painting Explanations, New Methods for Training Hawks and Falcons, and New Words on the Incense Burner, all of which are hard to find.
