Sword and Plough -- Theory and Practice of Contemporary Defense Economy

Features: What sets national defense economics apart from general economic research is its strong ideological influence. Due to its involvement in national security, some topics become highly sensitive. This made me have to adjust my approach several times. Initially, I planned to divide the book into two parts: one introducing national defense economics theory and the other introducing national defense economics practice. However, problems quickly arose: the practical part inevitably touched on real-world issues, and it was unclear what could or couldn't be discussed, how certain topics should or shouldn't be presented, and so on, leaving me at a loss. In this situation, I simply decided to cut the latter part and instead presented the materials I was fully confident in—those that were 100% publicly available in published articles—as columns within the theoretical part. Moreover, each piece of material was properly sourced to ensure the book had no issues.
