What is the reason for the baby's poor sleep and diarrhea?

Patient's question:

My baby is now 6 and a half months old. For the past month, she hasn't slept soundly at night and has woken up at least 4 to 5 times. Each time she wakes up, she cries, and she must be picked up and fed some milk to fall back asleep. In the daytime, she sleeps for about 1 hour in the morning and around 2 hours in the afternoon. She also frequently wakes up during the day. This has been very distressing for me.
Additionally, my baby has been having diarrhea recently. After taking Smecta and Amoxicillin Granules, her condition improved for a couple of days, but then she started having loose stools again. However, her spirits are good, and she doesn’t seem to be feeling any discomfort. I urgently need an answer and am very grateful for your help!!!!

Doctor's answer:

Hello: If the child's mental state is good, it won't have much impact. Appropriately pay attention to establishing normal living habits.
First, exclude infectious diarrhea, which can be tested with a stool routine examination.
Second, exclude allergic diarrhea, and check whether supplementary foods have been added, whether formula milk is being consumed, and whether there are easily allergenic substances.
If it is caused by bacterial infection, oral antibiotics are needed.
If it is allergic diarrhea, the allergen needs to be avoided.
